Kirsty
"The mountains have a way
of making me smile"
Bio
Kirsty Skye Dickson is an elite Scoish trail and mountain runner, specializing in sub-ultra racing across short, steep mountain terrain. She has quickly established herself as one of the sport’s leading young athletes, earning podium finishes at prestigious international races while representing Great Britain at World and European Championships.
Growing up surrounded by the Canadian Rockies sparked a lifelong connection with the mountains. For Kirsty, running has always been about far more than competition. It is a way to follow curiosity, gain perspective in wild places and find joy in the simplicity of moving through nature.
Away from racing, Kirsty is an orthodontist, drawn to a profession that combines science and creativity. She is deeply passionate about the research surrounding whole-food nutrition, believing that long-term health and high performance are built through simple, evidence based habits. Whether tending to the orchard in her garden, or creating po ery inspirited by mountain landscapes, she finds fulfillment in making, creating and embracing a slower pace away from competition.
