Bio
Colin Varanyak is a powerhouse in the bike world, celebrated for his technical precision and a street style that defines modern BMX. Originally from Hamilton, New Jersey, Varanyak’s journey began at just three years old, leading him to compete in the UCI BMX World Championships by the age of eleven. Since moving to San Diego to pursue riding full-time, he has cemented his status as a top-tier athlete through high-stakes video parts and a consistent presence on the global competition circuit.
His career is marked by significant accolades, most notably within the X Games arena. Varanyak earned a Silver Medal in the 2018 Real BMX competition and reached a career pinnacle in 2023 by taking home the Gold Medal in X Games Real Street. His versatility is further evidenced by his recent transition into freeride mountain biking, where he applies his decades of street-earned technicality to larger, high-speed terrain.
Currently representing Haro BMX and serving as a global ambassador for adidas, Varanyak is more than just a rider.
